Produce

All produce is grown the permaculture way, sustainably without chemicals and can be purchased, when in season, at:

  • Our farm  (1563 Pigeon Lake Rd, halfway between Lindsay and Bobcaygeon). Hours: TBD for 2017. Please check back.
  • Lindsay, at the Saturday farmers market, 7am-1pm, May through Oct.
  • Contact us: greenshireecofarms@gmail.com or 705-879-4207, to see what’s available or to be added to our weekly harvest-list newsletter. We also sell to restaurants. Inquiries from local chefs welcome.

In 2016, we planted arugula, green and yellow beans, beets, canteloupe, carrots, cucumbers, herbs, kale, peas, mixed greens, tomatoes, potatoes, sweet potatoes, blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, Goji berries and Sea buckthorn. In future years we plan to offer pre-picked and pick-your-own Shiitake mushrooms, strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, other berries and orchard fruits, as well as nuts.

In 2017, May through October, we will offer a Seasonal Field to Plate Program – details TBA.
